I had a fantastic stay at this hotel right on the picturesque riverbank. The location is unbeatable, situated in the busy area with plenty of restaurants and attractions within easy walking distance. I especially loved the rooms on the first floor with balconies overlooking the river - such a great view to wake up to! The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Everything was in good working condition and the attention to detail was evident throughout.
All was perfect, couldn't ask for more!

This hotel is excellent in terms of its location. It is situated on the river and close to the major attractions of Malacca. You can easily take a walk or rent a bicycle to explore the nearby sights. The hotel is also within walking distance to all the main tourist spots, shopping areas, and the famous Jonker Street.
The only small improvement that could be made is organizing the common areas of the hotel. While it is understandable that these areas are also used by the family running the hotel, it would be nice to ensure that they are in order and not too messy, especially the counter bar and kitchen.

The balcony overlooking the river is a wonderful addition, allowing you to sit back and enjoy the views. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with basic amenities. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service. Additionally, the breakfast offered is delicious and satisfying.
All was great, nothing to complain about!

Great amenities, amazing location.
Noise and lack of cleanliness.

The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfy beds and new amenities. The location was great, with popular attractions and delicious food within short walking distance.- The guest house had a local feel and was reasonably priced.
If you are a light sleeper or prefer to go to bed early, avoid rooms facing the river as they can get noisy at night. Parking can be challenging, so it's best to ask for assistance or explore other options.

The colonial architecture of the building is impressive, and the location is perfect for exploring the city's landmarks and trying the local cuisine. The room was tidy and comfortable, two factors that contributed positively to my experience. , the hotel was near public transportation, which made it easier to move around.
The noise level disturbed me. There was a bar nearby, and on Easter day, the rooftop was crowded with people who were partying until the early hours of the morning.

This guest house is located right next to the river with a great view of passing boats. Its location near Jonker Street and other tourist spots makes it convenient for families, and the chicken rice store is within walking distance. The room is clean and spacious, with a mezzanine floor perfect for families. The owner provides excellent restaurant recommendations.
Do keep in mind that this guest house is not soundproof, so guests might experience some noise from the nearby bar at night.
